Simply speaking, DC brushless motor is a kind of synchronous motor, which consists of motor main body and driver. Reason 1: DC brushless motor belongs to the category of permanent magnet brushless synchronous motor. Reason 2: Brushless DC motor has no brush and commutator, so to maintain the direction of rotation, it is necessary to have electronic commutator. The electronic commutator is controlled. So there must be a brushless motor controller, even if the brushless DC motor is directly powered on is useless.
